RAILWAY OHE STRUCTURES

Government of India at the Corporate level has set-up an amibitious plan to attain 100% electrification of its railway network by 2023. Under this plan railways are contemplating electrification of 27,000 kms by 2023. Once completed, Indian Railways will achieve a unique feast to run trains fully with indigenously produced power without dependence on imported fossil fuel and save around Rs. 14,500 croes annually on fuel bills.

Railway electrification has emerged as a water shed moment for MSPL. Aligning with the goals of the Ministry of Railway MSPL has forayed into manufacturing of railway OHE structures and Engineering Procurement & Constructions(EPC) of railway electrification. MSPL has created specific facilities for the manufacture of railway structures covering engineering electric traction yard and sub-station electrification.

MSPL has commenced supply of structures and EPC work for Pendra work of Rail India Technical & Economics Service Ltd.(RITES), Gurgaon. Major portion of this line has been completed to the satisfaction of South East Central Railways.

MSPL is scouting for further electrification work from Western Central Railway. Railway electrification, in view of Government of India plans will evolve as a major work with MSPL.

MSPL has mustered a highly skilled work force for the fabrication of railway structures and allied activities. It has also put in place a strong supply chain for railway items as per the Research Design & Standard Oragnisation (RDSO) specification.
